The Nephilim are a race of winged humanoids, with a thirst for knowledge. Their origins are still unknown but they have strong ties to the Temple of Thoth?. They first appeared shortly after the Circles re-activated and have been helpful in teaching the Aegyptians how to work them.

Of what little is actually known as them, it is well documented that when a Nephilim dies, it’s life pattern is only temporary separated from the body. After a period of time, rumoured to be several centuries, the life pattern re-enters it’s torpor body for it to resurrect once more. How or why this happens has never been answered.

Since the Cataclysm, there have been no recorded incidences of Nephilim resurrecting.
