Persia
Persia is a land of magic and mystery, deeply steeped in the study of magic and sorcerous lore.
The Jann are well known to Persians, and universally respected. The major pantheon of ancestors are each strongly associated with one of these types of elemental beings.
The Persians have been occupied by Ottoman invaders, from the West, for several years, from the early 1100s through to 1108. A strong resistance movement has fought this ocupation, but not managed to eject the foe from the land.
